Board sets March 25 workshop for further school budget review

The School Board has added a fourth workshop to its review schedule of the fiscal 2011 budget review.

The workshop, the second to be held this week, begins at 7 p.m. in the High School library. The last item on the published agenda, scheduled for 9:25 p.m., is a decision on any further workshop sessions.

A 15-minute time slot has been set aside for public comment.

Videos of school budget workshops held to date may be viewed on the Superintendent's Blog section of the School Department Web site. The site also has a special section dedicated to the school budget.

A School Board "Conversation with the Public", a community meeting dedicated solely to public input on the proposed school budget, is slated for 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, in the High School cafeteria, 345 Ocean House Road.
