School Board budget review extends to March 23 workshop

The School Board has scheduled a third workshop to its review schedule of the fiscal 2011 budget review.

The workshop scheduled for Tuesday, March 23, had been slated for review of new guidance curriculum, but will instead be devoted to further review of the proposed school budget. The meeting begins at 6:45 p.m. in the High School library, following the board's finance committee meeting, which begins at 6:30 p.m.

A 15-minute time slot has been set aside for public comment.

A School Board "Conversation with the Public", a community meeting dedicated solely to public input on the proposed school budget, is slated for 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, in the High School cafeteria, 345 Ocean House Road.

The discussion on guidance curriculum has been postponed to the April 27 regular School Board workshop.
