Presenters encourage teens to be honest, work hard toward career goals
Twenty-nine Cape Elizabeth community members offered vocational possibilities and inspiration to seventh- and eighth-graders at the Middle School's 13th annual Career Exploration Fair, held Feb. 4, 2010.
Careers ranging from veterinary medicine to airline aviation were represented. Volunteer speakers gave the students glimpses into various careers and career paths.
"They encouraged the students to trust themselves, to be honest and brave about what they liked, and to work hard," said Gail Schmader, director of volunteer services, who coordinated the event.
