Pool announces schedule, adjusted hours for late May to mid-June

The Donald L. Richards Pool has published hours for the remainder of May to mid-June.

The pool will be closed for the Memorial Day holiday Sunday, May 24, and Monday May 25. The fitness center will also be closed those days.

The Saturday open swim and the daytime open swims will be put on hold from May 26-Aug. 31.

The pool wiil be shared with the High School physical education classes from Tuesday, May 26-Friday, June 5. This will impact the lap swim times between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. There will be six lanes available every morning before 8 a.m. There will only be two lap lanes available between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. There will however be six lap lanes available at these times::

Tuesday 5/26 - 11:00am-1:30pm*
Wednesday 5/27  - 11:00am-12:30pm
Thursday 5/28  - 1:30-2:30pm
Friday 5/29 -  12:30-2:30pm
Monday 6/1  - 11:00am-1:30pm
Tuesday 6/2 -  11:00am-12:30pm*
Wednesday 6/3  - 1:30-2:30pm
Thursday 6/4 -  12:30-2:30pm
Friday 6/5  - 11:00am-1:30pm

*Due to a Community Services program there will be no lap lanes between 8:15-9 a.m. on 5/26 and 6/2. 

Annual maintenance will be Aug 1-19, 2009.

• Open Swim:
  Friday 7:00-8:30pm
  Sunday 2:00-4:25pm
• Senior Swim:
  M-F 9:00-10:00am
