Oakhurst sewer replacement complete, paving to begin next week
Public Works has completed replacement of a short section of the sanitary sewer at the intersection of Shore and Oakhurst roads.
Work began on the project May 11, 2009. The work was completed Thursday, May 13, and the paving work is scheduled to begin Tuesday, May 18, said Public Works Director Robert Malley.
The section being replaced runs from the intersection of Oakhurst and Shore Road to the entrance of the parking lot at St. Alban's Church, a length of approximately 250 feet, Malley said.
Malley advised drivers to use Mitchell Road for egress to avoid any traffic delays.
