  1. Update on Municipal Operations Review Committee

The committee is reviewing a draft report and will issue a citizen survey in the Cape Courier later this month.  The committee’s term expired on July 1, 2010. In order to give the committee time to review the citizen survey, an extension of time may be warranted.

  1. Scheduling of Fort Williams Park Workshop

At the June 14th meeting the Town Council voted to schedule a workshop to discuss revenue opportunities and capital needs of Fort Williams Park and to discuss the administrative process of how to address the opportunities and capital needs.  It is recommended to schedule a date for the workshop.

Item# 93-2010          Draft Communications Strategy  
The Town Council will consider a draft communications strategy.

Item# 94-2010           Roosters in Residential Areas   
The Town Council will consider a citizen request to prohibit the keeping of roosters in residential areas.

Item# 95-2010           Spurwink Avenue Speed Limit  
The Town Council will consider a citizen request to ask the Maine Department of Transportation to lower the speed limit on Spurwink Avenue.  Link to Recommendation from Chief of Police  

Item# 96-2010           Tree Ordinance Proposed Amendments  
The Town Council will review amendments to the Tree Ordinance recommended by the Ordinance Committee.   

Item# 97 -2010          Designated Fund Balance  
                                   The Town Council will review the proposed designated fund balance.
